Final Sail will take place from April 10th to 13th, 2024, offering participants a memorable experience.
With a world title and an impressive $100,000 guarantee, generously sponsored by Raymarine and Yamaha, up for grabs, this year’s Final Sail this year’s Final Sail promises to be the best one yet.
Landing in Miami during peak sailfish season, Final Sail teams can anticipate a red-hot bite. Adding an element of fun to the competition, each team’s final sailfish release will be recorded, and the confirmation number will be entered into a drawing. The lucky winners will secure a complimentary entry into next year’s tournament, ensuring the excitement continues.
The festivities kick off on Wednesday, April 10th, with a Captain’s Meeting at the iconic Shake-A-Leg Miami. Participating teams will be treated to an evening of camaraderie, featuring complimentary cocktails, dinner, and silent auctions alongside esteemed tournament sponsors and vendors.
The main event unfolds over two action-packed days, on Friday, April 12th, and Saturday, April 13th, with the competition reaching its climax. The thrilling conclusion culminates in an awards ceremony at Bayshore Club Miami on Saturday evening, where tournament and series champions will be celebrated.

This iconic series hosts some of the top billfishing teams in the sport. Teams in this 3-leg series are expected to compete for an estimated purse of over $1.7 million. However, the most coveted award – The Crest – doesn’t come in the form of a cash prize. The Crest represents the pinnacle of tournament sailfishing. It is viewed as the highest accolade bestowed upon a team. Presented in jacket form, competitors must emerge as the most dominant among an elite field in order to don the burgundy jacket.
