A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront builds strong, stable, and secure military families, so they can thrive - not simply get by in the communities they have worked so hard to protect.  Operation Homefront leads more that 3,200 volunteers nationwide, providing assistance to tens of thousands of military families since its inception in 2002.

Operation Homefront is nationally recognized for superior performance by leading independent charity watchdog groups, with 92 percent of Operation Homefront's expenditures going directly to programs that provide support to our military families. We have received a 4 Star rating from Charity Navigator for 9 consecutive years, and an "A" rating from Charity Watch.

Operation Homefront serves the families of deployed and transitioning service members and post 9/11 wounded, ill, and insured service members and veterans.  Our programs are primarily targeted to junior and mid-grade enlisted (E1-E6) service members.  Financial assistance is provided in the form of grants, not loans, paid directly to the vendor.

  • Build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they work so hard to protect.
