Release Round Up

 Estimated Purse $253,800

This optional entry category is divided into 4 rounds over 2 days of fishing.  Hours of fishing in morning rounds are from 8:00am to 12:00pm.  Hours of fishing in afternoon rounds are from 12:01pm to 4:00pm.  Numbers from 1 to 6 will be placed in a sealed container.  During each round of fishing a number wil be drawn from the container and that number will determine the number of sailfish that must be released by your team to move onto the next round.  Once a number is drawn, that number will not return to the container. A team must advance through all 4 rounds in order to win the pot. In the final round, should multiple boats release the required number of fish, the team that releases the most fish in that round will win.  Ties will be decided by whichever team released their last fish first.  If there is no winner the pot will rollover into the next leg of the Quest series where the process will start over again.  Estimated purse is based a rollover scenario from previous tournament.  Entry fee is $1,000 per boat.
