THE COMPETETION IS HEATING UP!

Circuit Prize Structure

The categories listed below highlight the prizes that are awarded at the end of the tournament trail in August, based on a team or individual’s performance over the course of all three events in the Circuit.

Let It Ride

Sponsored by Treasure Cay

  • Top Prize: Four night vacation package at Treasure Cay Hotel Resort & Marina in the Abaco Bahamas. Certificate valid for two people. Includes 4 nights lodging in a 1 bedroom suite and dockage for a boat up to 60 feet.

‘Let It Ride’ is a prize category that runs through all 3 tournaments in the PBSC. Any boat that registers for a PBSC tournament is eligible for this prize. This winner is determined from the single heaviest fish weighed in the PBSC trail. Each team will only be eligible to choose one fish over the 3 events to score in this category, so choose your fish wisely! If you think you’ve got a fish worthy of scoring, make sure you let us know before the fish hits the scale. Once you’ve made the choice it’s time to Let It Ride!

Showdown Crown

  • Top Prize  $2,000 & trophy

Undeniably, the Showdown Crown is the most prestigious award bestowed upon any team in the Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit. The Crown recognizes the top overall team in the 2011 Circuit.  $2,000 is great, but this award is really about distinction! Showdown Crown champions have the distinction of knowing they are members of an elite group that were once recognized as the most dominant fishing team in all of South Florida.

Junior Master Angler Division

  • Top Prize Engraved name recognition on perpetual trophy for Junior Master Angler

With the support of the IGFA, our junior anglers will enjoy a good spirited competition to determine who will be crowned the top junior angler for the 2010 Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit. The winner’s name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy on display at the IGFA museum. Good luck and catch’em up!
