Miami Report - 3/31/11 Captain Bouncer Smith

March 31, 2011
Variety is the spice of life. We are catching a few of everything almost every day. We have had days over the last week with 8 and 9 popular gamefish species. Every trip includes a few sailfish, king mackerel to 40 pounds, 5 to 10 pound mahi, little tunny and barracuda. There are grouper for catch and release, amberjacks for wrecking arms and a few mutton snappers on the bottom. Inshore tarpon are red hot on live shrimp mostly in the late afternoon and evening. And way offshore swordfishing has been good for a couple of weeks now.
