The boats competing in the 74th Annual Silver Sailfish Derby enjoyed exceptional fishing over the 3 day tournament.  The competition remained tight in the Derby right up to the end of the tournament.  The best fishing in the first half of the tournament was further to the north around Ft. Get Lit led the first day of the tournament and managed to stay on top of the fish all the way through. They won the tournament with 37 releases followed by Weez in the Keys in 2nd with 34 releases.  Team Murray finished 3rd with 33 releases.  The 35 teams in the Derby averaged 6.45 releases per day which was a new tournament record.  Peter Miller from team Get Lit was also the top angler in the tournament.  Adam Yunis, of team MD20-20 caught the heaviest fun fish of the tournament, a 44-pound Cobia.
